Hey, I'm Trisha
This is my story, from Rock Bottom to Acres of Dreams
It began with $100 to my name, a heart full of fear, and a bare, broken field that nobody else wanted.
It became Acres of Dreams and eventually the home of Faithwards Flower Farm.
This is the story of how God met me in the mess and helped me build a new beginning. It’s proof that with faith and a little bit of grit, it is never too late to start again and live out God's plan for you.

Faith Brought Me Here
That story you just read, the one about the broken field, that was the start of it all. It’s the journey that taught me everything I now share with Christian women and families who are ready to find their own new beginning.
Lord knows, it was not an easy road. It meant rebuilding my whole life, learning and doing things I never thought I could, and getting my faith, finances, and health renewed in my late 60s.
But it all truly began the day I decided to take a leap of faith on this land...

What it looked like then was rough, raw, and full of stumps. But I believed in what it could become. This is where I planted the first dreams for what would become Acres of Dreams.
Because it’s never too late to start again.
As I Healed the Land, I Healed Myself
Lord knows, that broken field wasn't the only thing that needed saving.
With faith as my anchor and a fire in my belly that I did not fully understand yet, I started taking small steps. I worked night shifts, I clawed my way back financially. I wrote down goals that felt downright impossible and asked God to make a way.
He did.
I saved my home from foreclosure just two days before it was gone. I flipped that house, bought this land, and built a life I never could have imagined with my own two hands.
From piles of logs to 12 income streams.
God showed me the way forward through faith, fitness, finance and fellowship.
Those four parts of my life changed everything. I even lost almost 100 pounds in my mid-60s.
None of it was easy. All of it was worth it.
This is where my Faithwards journey began. And it is why I believe, with everything in me, that it is never too late to start again. Not for me. Not for you.
That broken field of stumps and clay? That was me. And this is the story of how God decided to rebuild us both, at the same time.
With my own two hands, I started the work on the land. It was slow, hard going, clearing out what was dead to make room for what could grow. It was a physical, tangible act of hope, trusting that every drop of sweat was watering a future I couldn't see yet.
And all the while, a quieter, deeper work was happening inside of me. As I learned to nourish the soil, I learned to nourish my own body. As I uprooted stubborn weeds, I let God uproot the fears and doubts in my heart. That 100-pound weight loss wasn't just about food; it was about laying down a lifetime of burdens and letting my spirit get lighter, too.
The two journeys were always one. The land was my mirror, showing me every day that with a little bit of grit and a whole lot of grace, it is never too late for a new beginning.
My Journey Can Be the Map for Yours
I didn’t just build a farm. Along the way, I learned how to find and buy land, explore seller financing, work through county requirements, create off-grid and hybrid systems and build ways for the land to generate income.
I made expensive mistakes, learned through doing and built something I once thought was impossible.
Now I share what I’ve learned through Land Is Legacy, helping others build a future through land without making the same mistakes I did.
2023 - 2026 The Land Transformation
This land has seen drought, flood, breakdowns, and breakthroughs. From bare dirt and broken dreams to lights strung on fences and the first signs of bloom, every photo here holds a piece of the story. This is what faith in motion looks like.
Don't lose Faith! No matter how dark it looks, keep moving Faithwards and never ever give up 🙏✝️
When the rain comes, we dance.
This isn’t just any field. This is faith in motion.
In this moment, captured right here, you’ll see me, soaked to the skin, standing on these Acres of Dreams, praising God for the rain that finally came. After prayers whispered over dry soil and skies that wouldn’t break, this blessing poured down.
This is what it looks like when hope refuses to quit.
Faithwards isn’t just a name to me, it’s a direction. Every drop of rain, every bloom, every new beginning moves Faithwards.
After the Storm
Starting Over (Again)
Just when it looked like the hard part was over, the rain came back, but this time, it didn’t bring blessings. After praying for rain, a four-day flood wiped out nearly every crop I had saved. I lost 90% of the flowers. Everything I’d nurtured through the drought was gone.
So, I started again.
I built raised garden beds, planted 500 new seeds, and held onto the hope that this time, they’d grow. I’ve had to deal with wells I couldn’t use, topography that needed thousands of dollars to correct, moving buildings out of the flooded areas, and the crushing weight of doing it all alone.
Some days it felt like one step forward, five steps back. But I kept going. Because this dream matters and God showed me the way and gave me the strength to keep moving Faithwards.
And then, something unexpected happened.
A New Chapter
Cuteness, Chaos, and a Whole Lot of Goat Talk
After the storms, the mud, and the heartbreak, something unexpected arrived, four miniature goats with personalities bigger than the barn. They came bouncing in just when the land (and me) needed a little extra joy.
These goats aren’t just pets. They’re part of the mission. Living proof that even after loss, life finds a way.
And let’s be honest… who can feel hopeless when there’s a goat nibbling your shoelace?

I do not share these stories of floods and faith to dwell on the past. I share them with you as proof.
Proof that you can face setbacks and still stand strong. Proof that joy can show up in the most unexpected ways. And proof that it is never, ever too late to build the life God has planned for you.
A life of purpose and prosperity, on your own terms.
My Faithwards journey is now a map for yours.
