From $100 to Acres of Dreams

Hi, I’m Trisha Walker.

With God as My Captain, I Rebuilt My Life From Scratch in My 60s.

I refused to be a burden to anyone, so I made some life decisions that have brought me to where I am now.

I spent years pouring myself into caregiving for my mom. By the time that season ended, I had drained my retirement.

At over 55, I had $100 to my name, no assets, and a terrifying realization: I had to figure out how to survive without going into massive debt or expecting my boys to take care of me as I aged.

I didn't just need a place to live. I needed freedom. I needed a simple life.

So, I bought a broken clay field full of stumps that nobody else wanted. I cleared it with my own two hands. I downsized, got rid of the baggage, and learned how to build a homestead without taking on a $250,000 mountain of debt.

As I healed the land, God healed me. I lost the weight, reclaimed my vitality, and built Acres of Dreams.
